Standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive
As the first-ever all-electric SUV to feature the capability of Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, the Solterra takes this legendary all-weather, all-terrain traction system to exciting new places. The balanced design of Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive creates uniform stability and delivers an optimal distribution of power for maximum traction and confident handling. Couple that with the smooth linear output of the dual electric motors in the Solterra 5-seater SUV and you have outstanding traction on all kinds of surfaces and weather conditions.
DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System and Front Cross-Traffic Alert
Working in conjunction with EyeSight, the standard DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System*, new for 2024, is like having an attentive co-pilot along for the ride, available to give a helpful alert if a driver becomes distracted or drowsy. This system is designed to enhance the effectiveness of other safety systems while also increasing passenger safety within the vehicle. If its steering-column-mounted camera detects a distracted, drowsy, or incapacitated driver, it will provide an alert. DriverFocus also combines with other safety systems such as Emergency Driving Stop System by allowing them to intervene earlier when necessary. Front Cross-Traffic Alert*, also new for 2024, watches for unexpected traffic from either side and can alert you to approaching vehicles — including those that may not be visible from the driver’s seat.

The 2024 Solterra features a comprehensive suite of active safety features to help protect you on every drive. The Blind-Spot Monitor* system warns you with a visual indicator on each side mirror if it senses a vehicle in your blind spots. New for 2024, Front Cross-Traffic Alert can alert you if unexpected vehicles — even vehicles you may not be able to see — approach from either side of your Solterra. Lane Change Assist*, another new feature, watches for other vehicles as you move into a new lane, helps with steering, and automatically cancels your turn signal. Rear Cross-Traffic Alert* helps warn you of traffic approaching from the side as you back up. And with Parking Support Brake, the Solterra can even stop itself to help avoid objects behind you*.

Improved DC Fast Charging
The 2024 Solterra can fast-charge in about half the time as the previous model, now taking about 35 minutes to charge from 10% to 80% using its built-in fast-charge capability*. The StarDrive powertrain gives Solterra an EPA-estimated range of up to 227 miles* with standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive as well as a variety of options for fast and convenient charging, both at home and on the go. The Solterra comes with a charger that works with any standard 120V outlet for Level 1 charging. You can also have a 240V Level 2 charger installed at home so you can plug in overnight and wake up each morning with a full charge*.
Subaru Multimedia with available 12.3-inch Touchscreen, Cloud Navigation, and Intelligent Assistant
The 2024 Solterra features an advanced multimedia system with standard wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration and a high-resolution 12.3-inch touchscreen that’s available for even more intuitive control. On select models, you can even charge your smartphone wirelessly in the center console while you safely operate the wire- and hands-free connection and enjoy your favorite apps and content.
