Rooted in the Community - Bill R.
At Hanania Subaru, we believe in giving back to the community and investing in a future that’s not only brighter—but greener. That’s why we were proud to partner with the Arbor Day Foundation in a meaningful initiative that brought nature closer to home. Over the course of one week, we donated 100 trees to our local community. Through this partnership, residents were invited to request a free tree—no strings attached—as a way to enhance their yards, neighborhoods, and connection to the environment. We offered a selection of four beautiful, native species: ?? Sweetbay Magnolia – Known for its creamy white, lemon-scented flowers and glossy green leaves, this tree brings beauty and fragrance to any landscape. It thrives in our region and attracts birds, butterflies, and other pollinators. ?? Baldcypress – A unique and majestic tree that loves wet areas, the Baldcypress is admired for its striking fall color and towering presence. It's a living reminder of the resilience and beauty of our natural ecosystems. ?? Shumard Oak – A classic American shade tree, the Shumard Oak grows strong and tall, offering brilliant red fall foliage and a sturdy structure that can last for generations. It’s a gift that grows with your family. ?? Crapemyrtle – With vibrant summer blooms and colorful bark, the Crapemyrtle adds charm and curb appeal year-round. It’s low-maintenance and thrives in sunny Florida landscapes. We were inspired by the enthusiastic response from the community—neighbors, families, and individuals all eager to plant something that would last. Together, we’re planting more than trees; we’re planting roots of hope, sustainability, and connection. At Hanania Subaru, environmental responsibility is part of our Subaru Love Promise. We’re not just selling cars—we’re helping build a community that values nature, growth, and shared responsibility for the planet we all call home. Thank you to everyone who participated. Your new trees are more than beautiful additions to your yard—they’re a lasting legacy.
Hanania Subaru Spreads Warmth and Hope with Blood Cancer United - Bill R.
Hanania Subaru continued its tradition of giving back by partnering with Blood Cancer United to donate blankets and care kits to patients undergoing treatment for blood cancer. These cozy blankets will help patients stay warm and comfortable during long hours in treatment, serving as a reminder that their community cares. As part of Subaru’s Loves to Care initiative, both customers and employees joined in the effort by writing messages of hope and encouragement on small cards that accompanied each blanket and care kit. Every message, filled with heartfelt words and positivity, will be hand-delivered to patients to brighten their day and lift their spirits. This meaningful collaboration also included a special partnership with Nemours Children’s Health in Jacksonville, where many of the donated items will bring comfort to patients and their families. “At Hanania Subaru, we believe in showing love and care beyond our showroom doors,” said Mitch Morton, General Manager Hanania Subaru. “Through partnerships like this, we’re proud to support organizations that make a difference in the lives of patients and their loved ones.” Together, Hanania Subaru, Blood Cancer United, and Nemours are spreading warmth, compassion, and hope—one blanket, one care kit, and one encouraging message at a time.
Hanania Subaru Donates $50,000 to Mayo Clinic Through Subaru Share the Love Event - Bill R.
At Hanania Subaru, giving back to our community is at the heart of everything we do. This year, as part of the annual Subaru Share the Love® Event, we were proud to present two checks totaling $50,000 to Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Through the generosity of our customers and the Subaru Share the Love program, $35,000 was raised and donated directly through Hanania Subaru. In addition, dealership owners Jack and Debbie Hanania personally contributed an extra $15,000, bringing the total donation to an incredible $50,000. Buy a Car and Adopt a Dog at the Same Time! - Robert C.
Subarus and dogs are like peanut butter and jelly, they just go well together. Because of this we invited the nonprofit, Safe Animal Shelter, to come to our dealership and see if any of our customers would also want to adopt their new best friend. To make the deal even sweeter we also offered to cover the adoption fees of the first 10 dogs to be adopted. It was a win for everyone. Safe Animal Shelter is a nonprofit organization working to reduce the number of cats and dogs euthanized in Clay County, Duval County, Northeast Florida and the surrounding areas and they've been doing this since 1991. Along with our free adoptions we wanted to help them out any way we could. We decided to make an additional social media video pushing the event while it was happening. We interviewed some of Safe Animal Shelter's people, edited it, and got about 2,000 views on the video as the event was happening. This helped to get all 10 of the free adoptions done before the end of the day! It felt incredible to be able to connect families with their new dogs, especially through our social media presence. Based on the breeds and age of the puppies we saved our customers an estimated $1,500 in adoption fees! Regardless, customers and salespeople really enjoyed spending time with the puppies whether they were adopting or not. It just really made for a great day for everyone involved. I'm proud of our dealership for taking the initiative to make that video and help out a great organization doing amazing work.
Operation Warm at Sadie Tillis Elementary - Robert C.
Sadie Tillis is an elementary school next to our dealership here in Orange Park, FL, and we were fortunate enough to be able to help out 120 of their students by giving them new jackets. We were able to do this through an organization called Operation Warm. They do some amazing work and are on track to help nearly 130,000 children this year! Some of our team members went to the school, set up on the stage in the cafeteria, and made these kids' day. Seriously, they had the biggest smiles and were telling me all about how the jacket they got was their favorite color or even matched their favorite TV show or character! The principal of the school, Helen Dunbar, was kind enough to talk to us after we were done and even gave us a quick interview for the video we were making. She discussed how these new jackets wouldn't just keep the kids warm on a cold morning, but how having newer clothes actually motivates them and makes them more confident in school. These improved traits from charitable acts like this have led to students' grades improving! It truly is the little things that you or I may not think about that go the furthest. We here at Hanania Subaru are pumped that, by giving some of our time and energy, we were able to make a difference just up the road from our dealership.

Operation Warm at Sadie T. Tillis Elementary School - Helen D.
Dear Hanania Subaru of Orange Park, On behalf of Sadie T. Tillis Elementary School, I want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your recent donation of coats for our students. Your generosity and support mean the world to us, and we are incredibly grateful for your commitment to our cause. Your donation contribution made a difference in the lives of our students and families and has left a significant impact. As the temperature decreases many children are often left without proper winter clothing, leaving them vulnerable to the cold weather which results in high absenteeism. As a result of your partnership with Operation Warm, students will come to school warm and prepared for learning without being distracted by the temperature. We understand that there are many worthy causes competing for your support, and we are truly grateful that you chose to invest in Sadie T. Tillis Elementary School to support our mission-educating and inspiring the whole child. Your belief in our mission and your willingness to support our families through Operation Warm empowers us to continue our effort committed to educating and building the social and emotional growth of the whole child. Once again, thank you for your generosity and support. We are deeply grateful for your partnership in our mission. Together, we can make a lasting impact and bring about positive influence in the lives of students. With sincere appreciation, Helen S. Dunbar Principal
Neo's amazing new beginning - Ashley S.
Hanania Subaru and Mr. Ali Ansari went above and beyond during the pet adoption event. The event could never had been as successful with out the Hanania Subaru Team. With the partnership and Support of Hanania Subaru Neo was able to find a forever home and a life time of happiness was able to begin. Neo was surrender to a partnering animal services. They asked if we could come and get him since he had been with us before. Neo was a very sad dog not allowing anyone to get near him. When we arrived at the to get Neo he remembered us and gave us kisses so of course he was coming home with us. Back at the shelter Neo was so happy to see his shelter friends. Neo had many people who looked at him but his kennel presents was not good, which is common for many shelter dogs. That changed when Michael and his mother came into the shelter. As in the past Neo was passed up until our kennel staff recommended that meet Neo in the play yard. Michael needed a new friend and Neo did not disappoint. He interacted with the family and showed his manners and knowledge of commands. Before the adoption paperwork was completed mom had already buy Neo his own herding ball that would be delivery to his new home with Michael.
Adoption Story for Tommie - Ashley S.
We would like to Thank Hanania Subaru for not only the time they donated through out the adoption event but also the monetary donation to our shelter. With Hanania Subaru support Safe Animal Shelter was able to adopt out Tommie to Weston a very loving young man at 50% of our regular adoption fees. Tommie came into the shelter as a 1 day old kitten soak and wet. The shelter immediately warmed him, feed him and got him into foster care where he was spoiled and loved. When he was old enough for adoption he came back to the shelter. That day Weston a 9 year old autistic boy came in to the shelter. He was devastated at the loss of his cat Jinx. Jinx had gotten sick with at 2 years old and did not survive. This was very difficult for Weston to understand how a young cat could die so young. Weston's went into the kitten room and immediately fell in love with Tommie and vise versa. You see Jinx was a Siamese and so is Tommie. Weston convinced his mom Tiffany to adopt Tommie. Tommie is now Tuffy and rules the house. We get updates on a regular basis and have learned Tuffy sleep each night with Weston. When it is bedtime Weston gets his kiss goodnight from Mom and Tuffy insists on getting his kiss as well by standing on his 2 back legs. Tuffy spends his days lounging around the house waiting for Weston to come home from school. He rules the house and this 6 pound cats put 3 80+ pound dogs in their place. Weston's heart is again filled with love for his amazing cat.
Light the Night - Shantella G.
Jack Hanania’s Subaru of Orange Park was proud to donate $10,000 to the Jacksonville chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s “Light the Night Walk” on November 16, 2023. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Walk funds treatments that are saving the lives of patients today. The organization provides and advocates patient treatment while helping to fund cancer research. During the Light the Night Walk, teams and their communities will walk together to celebrate, honor and remember those touched by cancer. Thank you, Ali and our Subaru of Orange Park family, for your continued support with our Light the Night Walk.
Foster Closet - Tammy M.
The Foster Closet would like to thank Hanania Subaru for their enthusiastic and heartfelt mission in supporting our charity, which helps "look after" the children in foster care while supporting the families who are caring for them in their homes. As a prior foster mother, I know firsthand the immense number of personal items needed for a child entering a foster care family. That is why our family started the first-ever Foster Closet in 2009. Foster Closet's friends and supporters are why we continue to grow and thrive to help other foster caregivers in NEFL. We can make a difference at our organization daily because of our many volunteer-based storefronts. Every contribution made helps us reach our goals as we continue to serve the foster community in Northeast FL. Hanania Subaru is supporting Foster Closet this year by collecting New Toys for this Christmas and many more children entering foster care. The Foster Closet enables foster parents, kinship, and non-kinship placements to "shop for free" for gently used clothing (from infant to adult sizes), toys, car seats, and other items they need to take care of children in foster care entrusted to them. Much like me, foster families receive a phone call that the children are entering their home with less than 48 hours to prepare. For me, it was two baby boys needing everything from clothes and a crib to a highchair and double stroller. I was inspired to create a free resource to help other foster families prepare their households for the children entering their care. That's where my journey began, leading me to where we are today. As a volunteer-run organization, donations like yours help us purchase items needed for children coming into care every day. Your monetary donations also help us maintain our new facility and resources to support families and children, such as tutoring, childcare, support groups, and foster care training. In addition to our resources for children in care, our Pathway program assists teens and young adults aging out of foster care with anything they need for their new home. All our services exist for families in and around Northeast Florida. Thank you, Hanania Subaru, your many customers, staff, and administration, for making a difference in Foster Closet, the over 12,000 children we serve, and the families caring for them daily. In His Service, Tammy McGuire Foster Closet Corp Co-Founder, President , CEO & Executive Director

Customer Service Is Not Dead - Tracy W.
My first time visiting this dealership was to just set up a service appointment. I was not entirely pleased with the greeting and lack of customer service that I received from the woman at the front desk. I know everyone has a bad day so I tried to keep that in mind. However, I did have the thought that this might be my first and last time here! As I was preparing to walk out the door a friendly hello, turned into a quick conversation! Matt and I started chatting about my 2017 Subaru Forester and I told him I was trying to get the car play app fixed so that I could use it. I told him that as a Realtor I’m always driving so maps app would be helpful. He offered to look at it that day. After he looked at it my suspicion was validated, it wasn’t available due to the age and technology of my car. In my line of work presenting options as solutions is so important and I come to expect that out of others that are in any business industry! Matt and I talked about some options and I agreed to talk further about those. I had a full schedule of appointments so he said he could be flexible. on Tuesday afternoon he called and confirmed the appointment for Wednesday. I was running late the day of our appointment due to a meeting that ran over with a client previously. I informed Matt and he never once made me feel rushed. After getting to the appointment and meeting with Matt and the General Sales Manager, Sean I knew that trading in my vehicle would be my best option! I had already done my due diligence to know the value of my my older Subaru with low miles that had been cared for. They cut to the chase and there were no sales tactics. From one professional to another it was a simple clean process! Chris in financing also was very helpful and thorough to explain all of my options! Being provided with information to make the best choice is the experience I received. I fell in love with the new Subaru Wilderness so it made for an easy decision while never feeling pressured to make one. Customer service that I provide to others and receive matters highly to me! A new front desk person, Karen, ended my experience on a positive note! I mentioned to Sean about my first visit interaction with the staff at Hanania Subaru and how I was close to it being my last. He apologized then I shared further experience and how I was glad that Matt stepped in with a friendly hello “How can I help.” He welcomed me as a part of the Hanania Subaru family of Orange Park! For anyone on the fence about your car, come here and find out your options! You’ll be glad you did too! Customer service is not dead at this dealership!
Subaru of Orange Park is the best! - Vicki B.
I’m so excited to share that I recently became a member of the Subaru Family when I purchased a “new to me” 2020 Subaru Forester at Subaru of Orange Park! I had the pleasure of meeting Alexis when I first visited this dealership to look at cars. Alexis is friendly, knowledgeable and always ready to assist. She went above and beyond to ensure my experience was a positive one! Throughout this process, I was pleased to learn that Subaru’s are high on the list of the safest automobiles around while offering a lot of comfort accessories, too. Alexis patiently went over these features and gave me a hands-on tutorial to help me set up my preferences. Many thanks to you, Alexis, for all that you did to make this purchase a reality—including coming in on your day off to finalize the paperwork and guarantee a smooth transaction. I’d also like to express my sincere thanks to Laura and Chris for their part in making this purchase happen. Subaru of Orange Park has a team of individuals who genuinely care about their customers! In addition, they are very involved in giving back to the community through adopting a school and contributing to great causes. Thank you Subaru of Orange Park!
