Engineered Performance and Everyday Efficiency

Beneath the hood, the 2026 Subaru Forester Sport is powered by a 2.5L H-4 direct injection DOHC engine delivering 180HP. Paired with a smooth Lineartronic CVT featuring an 8-speed manual shift mode, this powertrain provides linear acceleration and refined efficiency. Standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive actively balances power distribution across all four wheels, giving you surefooted traction during heavy downpours or on loose road surfaces. Driver-selectable SI-DRIVE performance management allows you to tailor engine response between fuel-conscious commuting and sportier throttle control. With an EPA-estimated fuel economy rating of 25 city MPG and 32 highway MPG, you enjoy long-range capability for daily travel and extended road trips. The sport-tuned independent suspension system paired with a double wishbone rear configuration delivers precise cornering control without compromising ride quality.

Modern Technology and Cabin Comfort

Inside the cabin, advanced technology seamlessly connects you to your media and navigation. The center console features an 11.6-inch primary touchscreen running the Subaru 11.6in Multimedia Plus System. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration allow instant access to maps, messaging, and streaming apps without plugging in cables. A front wireless smart device charging pad keeps your phone powered up, while four USB ports ensure passengers stay connected throughout the ride. Sound is delivered through an 11-speaker Harman/Kardon premium audio system driven by a 576W amplifier for crisp playback. Intelligent driver-assistance technology includes EyeSight Adaptive Cruise Control, Emergency Lane Keep Assist, and Reverse Automatic Braking to support awareness on every drive.
