Turbocharged Power and Precision Handling
At the heart of the 2026 WRX Premium is a direct-injected 2.4L H-4 intercooled turbo engine producing 271HP. Mated to an engaging 6-Speed Manual transmission equipped with an STI Short Throw Shifter, this powertrain delivers crisp gear changes and immediate throttle response. Subaru's proven Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system continuously distributes power across all four wheels, securing optimum traction through sudden rainstorms or varied road surfaces. The sport-tuned four-wheel independent suspension features a strut front setup and double wishbone rear architecture, absorbing road imperfections while maintaining strict body control during spirited cornering. Rolling on 18-inch dark gray finish aluminum alloy wheels fitted with summer performance tires, the WRX delivers impressive steering feedback. Even with its performance focus, this sports sedan achieves an efficient EPA-estimated 19 MPG city and 26 MPG highway.
Modern Tech for the Connected Drive
Inside the driver-focused cockpit, intuitive technology keeps you seamlessly connected and entertained. The centerpiece is the Subaru 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus System, featuring a crisp high-definition touchscreen interface with smartphone integration for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Music and podcasts come alive through the premium Harman Kardon Audio System, utilizing 11 strategically placed speakers and a dedicated amplifier for high-fidelity sound throughout the cabin. Driver awareness is enhanced by the analog gauge cluster with a central 4.2-inch display and an integrated boost gauge. Additional interior upgrades include an Auto-Dimming Mirror with Compass and HomeLink, four fast-charging USB ports, and Siri Eyes Free voice controls, ensuring key vehicle and media functions remain easily accessible while your focus stays on the road.
